Welcome to Yrkesdörrens networking event with Google
A very warm welcome to register for Yrkesdörren's very first digital Networking event in collaboration with Google. We invite everyone who works at Google to join us for a one hour long digital event where you will get the chance to meet a person from your field who is new in Sweden. Perhaps you have first hand experience from moving to Sweden and entering the Swedish job market. Or perhaps you are born and raised here but you simply want to share your experiences from you field with a new Swede.
Whoever you are, we will match you - the Door openor - with a person who is new in Sweden and needs to broaden her/his professional network here. To make sure that you have loads to talk about, we will match you on your common industry. During one hour you will have the opportunity to discuss topics such as your common industry and advice on how to best enter the Swedish labour market.
What is expected from a Door openor?
Everyone at Google is welcome to register for this event! It is however crucial that you are established on the Swedish job market and that you have knowledge you can share with your participant regarding what it is like to work here in Sweden.
Share your experiece of what it is like to work within your industry, what it takes to enter the labour market, what kind of social codes prevail, how to write an attractive CV or LinkedIn profile, etc. Why not seizing the oportunity to discuss together what kind of challenges and possibilities arise due to Covid-19 within your common industry? Be creative in topics to discuss and you may gain something, besides being helpful to a professional peer!

Yrkesdörren creates meetings between established Swedes, who want to broaden and share their network, with people who are new in Sweden and want to build their own professional network.
